Zero from 23 on the AW and this front-runners better over shorter than this so he looks vulnerable from a wide draw.
Not scored from a mark this high since 3yo career and better over shorter than. Opposable in current form.
Winless on the Flat since 2013 and although last three runs were credible he may have to find something extra in this company which makes things tough.
Still on a feasible mark and has won around here so she looks a likely player with one of the more experienced amateurs taking the reins and she has a good record on the AW.
In good form this winter and didn't get a clear run when fourth of 13 last time at Wolverhampton. Positioned too close to the pace the time before and claims if things drop right with a talented amateur aboard.
Three time C&D winner who won well at Wolverhampton last time. Been in good form this winter and jockey booking is an obvious positive so he has leading claims in here.
Performed well at Southwell last time when attempting to dominate from the front. Yet to win around this AW course though and there's a theory that the more galloping tracks suit him better so he's opposable in what looks a competitive race.
Been hurdling of late and tasted victory at Bangor when making all and winning easily by ten lengths. 1lb higher here than previous winning all-weather mark but didn't go with much zest last time and yard not been in great form of late.
Not won here on the AW in 13 starts and has a significant break to overcome so others preferred on this occasion.
In good form lately and goes well around here but never won over this trip and strange connections haven't tried it since 2012 if they thought it would suit. Top amateur booked nonetheless so respect warranted.
Just one win from 30 starts and likely to need this after a significant absence.
Forecasts
General Hazard (11/4), Bamako Du Chatelet (3/1), Heart Locket (4/1), Attain (5/1), Take Two (8/1), Noguchi (14/1), Tempuran (16/1), Icebuster (20/1), The Gay Cavalier (33/1), My Lord (66/1), Athenian Garden (100/1)
GENERAL HAZARD has given the impression he's well-handicapped on several occasions and the booking of Serena Brotherton suggests a big run is expected. Heart Locket is on a workable mark and looks to be the main danger. The booking of top amateur jockey Simon Walker is a positive for Attain but there has to be a question mark over the trip.
1. General Hazard
2. Heart Locket
3. Attain
