Hasn't shown very much in recent outings and is struggling for form. Has been cut some slack by the handicapper but much better needed if he is to be competitive here.
Course winner who won at Chlemsford last time out and he's well handicapped on old form so the veteran has a good chance of going in again if returning in the same mood.
C&D winner that has shown very little since that one victory until last time when having the run of the race somewhat in a runner-up effort. Likely to need more again but drawn well for front running tactics.
Still a maiden after 11 starts but improved form last time out when finishing fourth of 13 at Kempton. Possibly a bit outpaced and this step up in trip may bring out a bit of improvement. Place claims.
Just one win from 18 starts coming over a similar trip at Wolverhampton in April when they appeared to go too quick up front. Likely to need a similar pace to aim at here and he's been in poor form on last four starts so not one to place a lot of faith in.
Badly out of form of late, unplaced on last 11 starts, most recently at Kempton when finishing ninth of 13. Won off a mark eight pounds higher than this not so longer but no signs he's turning the corner in recent efforts.
Still a maiden after 11 attempts on the Flat and has shown little of late. Switch to fibresand on last start failed to work and starting to develop bad stalls habits so may be one to avoid for a trainer with a poor strike rate.
0/37 on the Flat and placed just twice, latest of those efforts in 2014. First time blinkers need to work the oracle but seems unlikely at this stage of his career.
Still a maiden after 22 starts and while he has bits of form that entitle him to respect, he was badly out of form last time and hard to fancy off the back of that.
Very poor of late and still unplaced in seven starts. Hard to fancy with 5lb claimer booked.

It's not unfair to say KING OLAV isn't as good as he was but he returned to some kind of form last time and he's likely to make his presence felt once again off a 3lb higher mark. Grand Facile may be able to dictate matters up front and would be dangerous to rule out if given an easy lead. Medicean Queen is still a maiden but produced a career best last time out and step up in trip may bring out a bit of improvement.
