Back on his game last week when winning over a mile here, should go well again but mark of 67 is high enough.

Maiden but has gone close on occasion, including over 7f on AW at Wolverhampton in September. Disappointing on final start for previous trainer and comes here off a break.

Comes back here having been hurdling latest, recent Flat form isn't laden with promise but would be dangerous to write her off on current mark.

Two runs for this yard have been disappointing, dropped to 5f last time and now goes in the other direction, doesn't make much appeal.

Good effort over a mile here seven days ago, first start back from a break. Drops back in trip now and could have more to come with that run behind him.

Improved on second start for trainer to be runner-up in apprentice contest over C&D a fortnight ago, could build on that effort off this mark.

Verdict

An open look to this with last week's scorer Our Manekineko looking up against it in the bid to follow up of new mark and dropped in trip. He should run his race however, which is more than can be said for some of these. Alans Pride improved last time out and could take a leading role if building on that in just his third start for current yard. Captain Midnight ran well a fortnight ago and should get involved again but the vote goes to SHEPHERDS CROOK on the back of a promising return last week. He drops to 7f for this and is entitled to mound a bold bid. Twistsandturns is another that could go well if reproducing November's form, when landing a fourth course success. 1. Shepherds Crook 2. Alans Pride 3. Our Manekineko
