Easily justified odds-on favouritism at Fairyhouse on rules bow and, with some big targets ahead of him in the spring, it will be a major shock should he fail to follow up.
Confidence has been dented by two recent falls over hurdles, won a Thurles bumper in good style in November and should play the chief supporting role in this.
Mare beat just one of 15 rivals home in Fairyhouse bumper in March and hasn't been seen on the track since. This is a very big ask on second start.
Forecasts
Getabird (1/10), Hardline (11/2), Kittyhawkkay (50/1), La Guerra (66/1)
GETABIRD is clearly an outstanding prospect and he's likely to be making his mark at the big spring festivals in time. His presence in this has rather scared off the opposition and it will be a huge surprise should he not swat aside those that do oppose him in straightforward fashion. Hardline needs to restore some confidence after a couple of recent accidents over hurdles and can prove best of the rest while race fitness might see La Guerra home in front of the mare Kittyhawkkay.
