Running well in four starts over flights this season, looks to have enough on his plate on ratings at the moment but sure to give this a crack.
Ran well enough after more than 500 days on the outside when fading at Leopardstown last month, respected with that fitness boost under his belt.
Ran a solid race in valuable Leopardstown handicap over three-miles last month. Drops in trip for his and worth a look.
Likely to want a more exerting test of stamina than is on offer in this and formbook gives him little chance.
Won a Limerick maiden in March, generally struggling since and hard to fancy on handicap debut.
Bit disappointing when pulled up at Cork latest, previous Limerick fifth had some promise to it. Got something to prove now.
Navan winner over two-miles in September, in and out since and this return to 2m4f not certain to bring out the best in him.
Best effort this season came off this mark at this trip around Wexford in October, has his chance on these terms.
Overall profile isn't that strong and two recent runs since returning from layoff have lacked promise.
Ran a cracker when just touched off in 2m7f event at Navan in November, gives him every chance of going one better now.
Mare ran a good race off this mark at Punchestown 11 days ago, rather undone by one significant jumping error. Has to be given a chance of doing better today.
Has been in great form over fences of late and could be well-handicapped now reverting back to hurdles.
First run over hurdles in three years and form over the larger obstacles isn't quite as laden with potential as Smadynium.
Has run well enough in maiden hurdles over two-miles at this venue and at Punchestown to suggest he's got a chance in handicap debut if seeing out the extra yards.
Some decent form in France, steps up in trip here for just third start since joining current yard and first time in handicap company.
Forecasts
Smadynium (9/2), Futuramic (6/1), Go It Alone (13/2), Wood Breizh (7/1), Kara Loca (8/1), Toushan (8/1), Bull Ride (10/1), Soir De Chantenay (12/1), Tawseef (12/1), Wilcos Mo Chara (14/1), Notwhatiam (20/1), Asitsohappens (20/1), Belclare Boy (20/1), Mister First (33/1), Love Rory (50/1)
Futuramic ran a fine race to be second at Navan in November and has claims on the back of it but he's not the most reliable individual around. Handicap debutant Soir De Chantenay gets a mention on his French form while Wood Breizh should be fitter after last month's return to the track and merits respect. Belclare Boy should figure if the step up in trip doesn’t inconvenience but SMADYNIUM gets the nod having been running well over fences lately. He's got a cracking chance off current ratings if bringing that form to the table.
1. Smadynium
2. Belclare Boy
3. Futuramic
