Showed some fair form over timber for Charles O'Brien in Ireland, but yet to excel in starts for new yard. Worth a market check as he switches to the larger obstacles for the first time.
Bits and pieces of promise over hurdles in her native France, and raced with plenty of zest on her British debut before unseating. Interesting recruit to fences, one to note.
Point-to-point winner who has attained a mark of 121 without winning over hurdles. Showed up well at a big-price on chasing debut over 2m5f at Market Rasen but struggled over a shorter trip last time. Questions to answer.
Five wins under Rules, most recently over fences at Perth in the summer and comes here in good heart, having finished a clear second behind Future Gilded at Catterick recently. Ensuing 5lb rise looks harsh, but still a major player.
Fairly modest form over hurdles but, being a point-to-point winner, chasing was always likely to be his game. Looks potentially well-treated on first attempt - short-list material.
His French chase form didn't amount to much and he has continued in a similar vein for present connections, though signs of improvement when fourth in the mud at Chepstow last time. Subsequent 3lb drop may not be enough.
Three-time winner on the Flat in France and has been knocking on the door over hurdles for present connections without managing to get his head in front. Has to be considered over fences off this mark, despite falling on sole chase start (in France).
Reached the frame in all four hurdle starts before an encouraging chase debut behind Top Notch at Warwick in November. Lesser subsequent effort when unseating at Hereford tempers enthusiasm, however.
Forecasts
Un Prophete (5/2), Big Windmill (4/1), Keep Moving (9/2), Nefyn Bay (6/1), Bise D'estruval (10/1), Deadly Approach (10/1), Breath Of Blighty (12/1), Prussian Eagle (22/1)
There's a few potentially nice chasing recruits here, and it's not hard to make a case for the likes of Un Prophete and Nefyn Bay, particularly the latter after going so close at Catterick last time. Any market move for Blse D'estruval would be interesting, as it would be for fellow chasing debutant BIG WINDMILL who gets the vote by virtue of his previous point-to-point form which suggests he's a potential blot on the handicap.
1. Big Windmill
2. Nefyn Bay
3. Un Prophete
