Didn't really fire in the mud last time at Ayr but that may have just been a pipe opener on yard debut and better expected here back up in trip.
Even his best form leaves him a fair way short here and will need others to underperform if he's to figure.

Creditable effort last time out at Kempton on King George Day and he looks to have the beating of these rivals on official ratings at least. Likely to be of warm order in the market and hard to oppose.

Three disappointing efforts at Wetherby recently and not been jumping with much fluency on final start. Was good enough to win a Grade Three juvenile hurdle less than a year ago in Ireland and if trainer can tap into that ability then there are chases to be won. However, they may come on other days.
Been in good form of late but not in the context of this race and she will need to raise her game several levels to get involved here.

Unplaced on first three starts over hurdles and couldn't have picked a much tough novices' chase to start off in.

Forecasts

Two Taffs (1/6), Aminabad (7/1), Newberry New (20/1), Chasma (33/1), Cactus Valley (40/1), Sweet Belle (125/1)

Verdict

It's hard to get away from the claims off TWO TAFFS here who ran a big race at Kempton on chase debut. That form sticks out a mile in this line up but if Aminabad came back to his very best Irish form then he may be able to give the Skeltons a run for their money. Newberry New was impressive as a juvenile and would need to come back to that sort of form to have a small chance of getting involved. 1. Two Taffs 2. Aminabad 3. Newberry New
