9/4
Promising start for this yard when winning at odds of 50/1 (deadheat) but fairly disappointing in two starts since. Return to better ground may do the trick though and can't be ruled out if allowed to dominate from the front.

Decisive winner last time out and entitled to progress from that, especially tackling this longer distance. Leading claims.

100/1
Second in a small-field bumper on debut at Wincanton (beaten favourite) and given a considerate introduction over hurdles on debut at same track. Left Paul Nicholls in the meantime and tailed off here on yard debut so plenty to prove now.
4

200/1
Unplaced on four starts under rules and very disappointing on yard debut last month. Likely to need more time.

Desert Pointp122
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Craig Nichol| T: K Dalgleish

Some promise when in behind Idder earlier in the month and useful on the Flat in France. Likely there's plenty more to come.

200/1
Barely beaten a rival home in three starts to date and trainer only had one winner 55 runners over the last year, hard to fancy.
Modest Flat performer who showed jumping frailties on hurdles debut on New Year's Day. Even best Flat form would leave him needing more here.

Robertson27
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-12| J: C O'Farrell| T: Laura Morgan
33/1
Looked capable on the Flat for James Franshawe but not seen since the summer of 2014 and percentage call says he will need the run.
Minor promise in three starts to date and jockey and trainer combination warrant respect (around 15% strike rate over the last twelve months) but others hold stronger claims.

Warksburn Boy23
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-12| J: Finian O'Toole(5)| T: Mrs S Walton| OR:  79
200/1
Pulled up on last four starts and plenty more exposed than several of these so not one to place a lot of faith in.
Plenty of promise on hurdles debut but proved no match for the winner last time out. Seemed to cope well with the heavy ground last time so claims if there's plenty of rain but that's not forecast and may find one or two too good again.

Forecasts

Cracking Find (9/4), Floramoss (11/4), Idder (3/1), Test Pilot (9/2), Desert Point (10/1), Robertson (33/1), As And When (100/1), Glorious Dancer (150/1), Devils Water (200/1), Warksburn Boy (200/1), Derrydoon (200/1)

Verdict

It may be worth taking a chance on DESERT POINT on his second hurdles start. He finished well-beaten behind Idder last time out but he's likely to improve on that and his record on the Flat in France warrant respect. The aforementioned Idder is a danger if this trip brings out more improvement and Floramoss shouldn't be ruled out if there's some rain. It would be dangerous for these three to give Cracking Find an easy lead. 1. Desert Point 2. Idder 3. Floramoss
