Shot up the handicap after a good run last spring and struggled to keep that form going off the new high mark. Shaped much better last time after being pulled up on his first start after a break. Will appreciate the soft ground and remains on the same mark in first time cheekpieces, but this looks tougher.

Has run some nice races at a higher level than this off a similar sort of handicap mark but looks like he needs a marathon trip these days. Stays on well for pressure in his races but lacks any sort of speed, and even 3m is likely to be a fair way short of his optimum.

WHISKEY CHASER was in excellent form this time last year, before his handicap mark went up to a prohibitive level. He's slipped back down to an winnable weight today however, and can build on his second last time to make it a second C&D win.
