No match for front pair in novice hurdle here last month but well clear of the remainder, could have more to offer.
Best effort to date over hurdles when runner-up in Fairyhouse maiden over two-miles in March, hasn't raced since but remains capable of improvement.
Beaten out of sight in all three bumper runs, suggesting he has limited claims for this first attempt over hurdles.
Some promise in bumpers but took a solid beating on debut at this game last month at Down Royal.
Improved from debut over timber when just over seven-lengths runner-up at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day at this trip.
Point-to-point scorer last February but hasn't done much in two runs over hurdles, unseating his rider at the last on January 1st when well beaten at Fairyhouse.
Hasn't shown great potential in two starts over timber, including at Naas 13 days ago when beaten some 80-lengths.
Bitterly disappointing in three starts for champion trainer over hurdles, has since switched yards and had a pipe-opener on the Flat at Dundalk before Christmas.
Has struggled in three of these to date, including at this venue in September, faces stiff task again.
More expected on hurdles bow at Bellewstown in August but didn't jump with much fluency. Bumper form was encouraging and may have learned from his last run.
Hurdles debut fourth here last month looks good form and has since run credible third at Leopardstown, trainer in fine form and he's going the right way.
Debut second here has worked out very well (Black Key fourth) but disappointing run at Fairyhouse since (behind Gettysburg Address) makes him tough to assess. Cheekpieces go back on.
Thumped in similar company at Naas 13 days ago, hard to make a case for chances here.
Just modest form in two bumper runs ahead of this jumping test, goes up in trip for trainer in good form.
Struggled all three starts over timber to date, no reason that will change now going up in trip.
Hasn't displayed a great level of ability in two prior runs over hurdles to suggest he'll have more than bit-part role in this.
Pleasing effort on first appearance to be fourth of 13 at Limerick last month, gives him claims to have a say in the shake-up here.
Well held in Cork event a fortnight ago over three-miles, drops in trip here and capable of better but might need some time to show it.
25/1 and ran according for Punchestown debut over two-miles in May. Off the track since and goes up in trip for this.
Makes racecourse debut here, will need fair ability to make it count first time out but trainer has near 20-per-cent strike record over hurdles during the last 12 months.
Got off the mark in a point-to-point in October, pulled up only previous run under rules a year ago.
Forecasts
C'Est Jersey (15/8), Gettysburg Address (5/2), Black Key (3/1), Monkshood (10/1), Art Of Synergy (10/1), A Rated (20/1), Winsome Bucks (33/1), Hide The Biscuit (33/1), Sizing At Midnight (40/1), Spring Watch (66/1), Getaway Kid (66/1), Highland Fling (66/1), Bilbo Bagins (100/1), Irish Mustard (100/1), Catch A Lucky Star (100/1), Glenabo Bridge (100/1), Select Opportunity (100/1), William Tyndale (100/1), River Run (100/1), Changing Fast (100/1), Judge Not (100/1)
C'est Jersey has two reverses on his record already at short odds. The first behind Any Second Now has worked strongly but his most recent effort was a worry. On the form of that run at Fairyhouse, he's got something to find with Gettysburg Address here. Preference in this is for BLACK KEY who was behind C'est Jersey on debut but has since run a fine race to be third at Leopardstown. Monkshood made a good impression on his Limerick debut last month and is greatly respected in this field while Art Of Synergy could easily have a say if ready for this on first start since March. Newcomer William Tyndale is worth a check in the market for a trainer with a strong record in this sphere.
1. Black Key
2. Gettysburg Address
3. C'est Jersey
