Returned to action with a fair effort here before Christmas but hasn't backed that up in subsequent Cork run.
Ran just a modest race at Punchestown on return to action, although the two-mile trip not necessarily showing him in best light there and this much more suitable.
Ran a stormer to be second on handicap chase bow at Limerick last month, up 3lbs and should be involved again.
Winner here last month, couldn't repeat that off new mark at Leopardstown over Christmas, could bounce back now.
Handicap hurdle winner at Limerick recently but four starts over fences suggest he may simply be better at that discipline.
Seemed to have a fair chance last start at Limerick and ran disappointingly all things considered, hard to fancy on the back of that.
Second start off a long layoff at Punchestown on New Year's Eve was laden with promise and entitled to get involved here if in similar mood.
Promising effort at Tramore on New Year's Day having not won since 2015 but couldn't back that up last weekend at Punchestown.
Sent off favourite at Clonmel in March when last seen, unseating rider then and record stands at zero from eight over fences.

Winter Magic ran well here on his penultimate start and could get involved with a similar effort while The Conker Club scored here last month but has since run disappointingly at Leopardstown. Lisclogher Lad was an eye-catcher on his handicap chase bow at Limerick and looks to hold leading claims having been upped 3lbs since. A tentative vote goes to GLEN ODE who built on his reappearance when third at Punchestown on New Year's Eve and could land a blow here if taking another small step forward.
