Finished fourth on her only start here in a 6f nursery in November. Ran better than of late when third over 5f at Newcastle last time in a race where the fourth won subsequently. Looked a little outpaced in that race and may need a return to 6f to fully fire.
Makes her debut on the AW here after winning a Lingfield turf maiden over 5f in August. Disappointed on her handicap debut at Brighton and her lack of experience on this surface combined with a break to overcome, make life tough for her here on her return to action.
Plenty of AW experience in her locker and has run her last two races here over 5f taking the first of that duo when wining a maiden auction race at the end of December. Not as good last time when finishing last of five back in handicap company (better grade than this) and returned to calmer waters. Her chance must be respected.
Ex-Irish gelding who has had just one run for his current yard at Wolverhampton over 5f. Looked unsettled by the drop to the minimum distance last time out and in reality would be far happier over 7f+ in the future.
Yard well known for their prowess with sprinters and it will be interesting to see what the market makes of this one on handicap debut. Has shown ability in those maiden runs and if he handles the surface would be of interest off a decent mark.
Only win came on turf in a Windsor soft ground 6f seller and her four AW starts have been underwhelming. Back from a break here and would need to improve on her form so far to take a hand on her first try on the surface.
Forecasts
White Royale (8/11), Wild Approach (7/2), Nuzha (15/2), Dixie's Double (8/1), De Vegas Kid (16/1), Mesmeric Moment (50/1)
Not many with previous form on this surface although White Royale and Nuzha have both run here before. The former of that pair may well be suited by a return to this surface although a return to 6f may well see her in a better light. Nuzha will appreciate the slight ease in grade after being highly tried last time out. The Robert Cowell yard are well known for their sprinters and his WILD APPROACH is an interesting debutante in handicaps and on the surface. A chance is taken that he improves for going handicapping.
1. Wild Approach
2. Nuzha
