Mainly consistent but has so far proved to best over the minimum trip. Also debatable as to whether she copes with truly soft ground and her chances will be blunted if the heavens decide to open.
Arguably better over hurdles but did impress when winning a novice event at Bangor last summer. She has been a little in-and-out since then, so does have a bit to prove on balance.
Best in at the weights and, even though her form figures have been uninspiring of late, she has been taking on a much stronger calibre of opponent. Good chance under the terms of the race and, given that she handles this course well, a big run can be expected.
Won over hurdles here last February but has enjoyed mixed fortunes since then. She was pulled up on her chasing debut last time out and will need to have been sharpened up tremendously by her short break since then.
Steadily gaining in experience and at least registered a confidence boosting round of jumping when chasing home the useful Top Notch in a novices' event at Warwick in November. However, she took a tired fall when well held in her latest start and needs to prove her well being.
Forecasts
Land Of Vic (1/1), Pemba (5/2), Timon's Tara (9/2), Aces Over Eights (15/2), Detour Ahead (100/1)
This can go to LAND OF VIC, who has a solid chance on these terms. There may be more to come from Pemba, who is forwarded as best of the rest, while Detour Ahead looks set to be the best placed to capitalise if the top two have an off day.
1. Land Of Vic
2. Pemba
3. Detour Ahead
