Both hurdling wins have come on better ground than today's but now on a decent mark and with yard going pretty well he should give a good account despite top weight.
Trip would have been on the sharp side here last time but still ran as well as could be expected. Yard has been among the winners in January and with conditions to suit plus sizeable claim by his pilot, he has to enter calculations.
Both wins have come here and tends to succeed from around today's mark, so with stable going reasonably well and a useful claimer up there is no reason why the partnership cannot be heroes again today.
Best effort since his debut bumper came at Sedgefield over slightly further last time. As yet unproven on soft ground, but it is a fair bet that he won't have to wait too long before he breaks his duck now switching to handicap company.
Departed too early at Wetherby on Boxing Day to have an idea how he might have done. Handles conditions well enough and has a good pilot on board, though likely to show more with experience and a fence to jump.
Been knocking on the door in novices' handicap over both fences and hurdles lately, succumbing by just half a length in a Huntingdon 2m 4f chase last time. Up 2lb for that, but handles but and likely to have a say.
A switch from William Haggas to his current yard has yielded four Flat wins at up to 1m 5f (the best from a mark of 81) and a hurdles success, together with three placed runs in better handicap hurdles than this. Wouldn't take the genius of his namesake to see him get his nose in front again.
Has seen plenty of action for a relatively young horse and can be an in and out performer. However, conditions suit and if he can put up his best effort he is not without claims now that the handicapper has dropped him to his lowest mark for 13 months.

Nietzsche (9/4), Movie Legend (9/4), Jazzy (4/1), Isaac Bell (8/1), Air De Rock (8/1), Norse Light (10/1), Bowie (16/1), Vancouver (16/1), Pads (18/1)
NIETZSCHE has been very consistent since tackling timber, including making the frame in Listed company. Brian Ellison's juvenile can pick up a further win that those efforts surely deserve. Isaac Bell has to shoulder plenty of weight, though the way the race is framed he does not have to give lumps of the stuff away and if he handles the ground he can be heavily involved. Pads is another for the short list, and while it may not induce fame, a win for Bowie would not surprise.
1. Nietzsche
2. Isaac Bell
3. Pads
