Losing run stretches back a long way now and most recent effort at Thurles was a sub-par one.
Two-time winner over fences but has failed to impress for this yard in two starts, including when pulled up at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day.
Was in fair form when last chasing, scoring at Thurles and Roscommon, returned from layoff with acceptable hurdles effort at Limerick in December.
Ran well enough at Navan just before Christmas in a similar race but faces a tough enough ask to get involved here.
Wide margin maiden chase winner at Cork in March, has been hurdling over the winter but could go well now returning to this sphere.
Pulled up both starts either side of 11-month break and form in five starts over fences does nothing for confidence here.
Formerly a promising sort but fell on Down Royal return 18 days ago after 663 days on the sidelines. Not completely overlooked just yet.
Couple of falls did little for confidence this term, did get round in one piece when remote fourth behind Yorkhill over two-miles at Fairyhouse last month.
Seemingly a tough horse to keep straight, dual PTP winner and promising Down Royal debut in March when second of four. Navan return in November much less promising however.
Decent effort first time handicap chasing at Fairyhouse over 2m1f early last month, could be some more to come here.
On good terms with himself in three starts at this game last month, trainer in good form and three-time chase winner wouldn't be winning out of turn here.
Hasn't won since 2015 but ran a sound race at Tramore on New Year's Day over 2m5f and given a chance on that effort.
First start for this trainer, promising handicap chase bow at Fairyhouse in February, fourth of 15 and dropped 2lbs since.
Last won in 2014 and tends to throw in the towel all too quickly these days, pulled up twice last month.
Rank outsider in two decent chases November 2015 when making little impression, flying over hurdles recently and chase mark looks appealing in that light.
Tailed off all three starts in beginners events to date, not in great form over hurdles latest and makes handicap chase bow here.
Just one success in 32 starts over fences, could threaten a place on a going day but regularly fails to complete his races.
Forecasts
Luckyinmilan (9/10), Refused A Name (10/1), Larry Capri (12/1), James (12/1), Flynsini (14/1), Rebel Cry (14/1), Tulpar (16/1), I'm An Izz Wizz (16/1), A Grey Matter (16/1), Da Baba Elephant (16/1), Stoughan Cross (20/1), Theatre Princess (20/1), Goldmineinthesky (25/1), Il Fenomeno (25/1), Sunsetstorise (25/1), Tomcoole Lad (33/1), Notimetoserve (50/1)
Refused A Name has been consistent in this sphere of late and his trainer is purring at the moment, so he goes on the shortlist as does Theatre Princess on foot of her Cork effort back in March. Rebel Cry ought to be fit from a recent spin over hurdles and knows how to jump a fence but the nod here goes to LUCKYINMILAN. He's been impressive over timber lately, jumps fences soundly enough and has a huge chance here if translating form across. Tulpar has fitness to prove but also looks well handicapped ahead of his first run for this trainer.
1. Luckyinmilan
2. Refused A Name
3. Tulpar
