Strictly a 5f horse according to his trainer and his last run in 6f event at Wolverhampton was presumably a tune up for this. All his best performances and wins have come around the tight bends of Lingfield and this is quite a different test on a slower surface and a straight track. Not out of this solely on that basis but others have more pressing claims.
Talented front-runner but likelihood is he's a level below what's needed to take this.
Lightly raced and put up a good performance finishing behind Tatlisu last time at this course but he needs to step up markedly on that form to figure here and he gives the impression this trip will be on the sharp side.
Talented performer whose latest win came on the polytrack at Dundalk but all his wins have come over further and he's in with some 5f specialists here. Not placed over the minimum trip in two attempts.
Smart 5f horse on the AW. Finished second last time after conceding first run to the winner. His official rating of 110 puts the rest of the field wrong at the weights and he looks likely to gain compensation.
Built on reappearance effort (third behind Gracious John) when winning Kempton affair in November. Needs to build on that now but place claims if he does.
Second in a Listed affair two starts back and proved that was no fluke by finishing second last time out on the tapeta at Wolverhampton behind a smart enough rival. Never tried the minimum distance but he tends to have plenty of speed from the gate so it could suit him. Interesting player if he takes to it but suspicion is that connections would have already tried it if they thought it suited him.
Been in flying form on last five starts but that level looks a level below what will be required here and he has a break to overcome.
Interest Irish raider. Five of her six wins have come on the polytrack at Dundalk over 5f. Could be interesting if she takes to the tapeta and has stronger claims than some in here.

Gracious John may have won last time if he hadn't conceded first run to the winner. He looks a cut above this field; as his official rating suggests. If he fails to fire, Mythmaker looks the most interesting of the rest. It's his first try at 5f but there's a chance he'll take to it and he ought to make this as much of a test of stamina as possible. Chiclet is a 5f specialist and while she needs to up her game to get involved here, she may not have finished improving.
