Finally bounced back into form last time out when things dropped right for him here last time. However, drops back to 5f here and all wins since debut effort at Musselburgh have been over 1f further. No doubt he's well-handicapped though.
Has a bit of class about him but all wins have come over further than this and only minor promise when dropped below 6f once in heavy ground so likely to need further.
C&D winner who performed well when getting his head in front here in September. May come on for most recent run when returning from an absence and has won off a mark this high so he warrants respect.
Best efforts have come over 5f on a synthetic surface and performed creditably at Kempton over a furlong further last week so ought to get close here and has won off a mark higher than this.
Consistent sort who has been uncharacteristically out of form of late, particularly when last seen at Lingfield in November. Hard to fancy off the back of that and others look better handicapped.
Seems to prefer turf to the AW but performed well when finishing third of 13 over C&D in October but very few excuses on last two runs and needs to find more in here.
Another who seems to prefer turf to a synthetic surface and he's looked badly out of form on last two starts. Complicated type who needs things to drop right, so others make more appeal.
Best efforts have come on the surface at Wolverhampton but he struggles to dominate from the front around here due to the nature of the track. Having not got his head in front since the end of 2015, he's hard to fancy.
Smart AW performer who is having his first run around here. Has struggled to get a win under his belt recently though and the handicapper refuses to relent so he's hard to fancy for win purposes.
Forecasts
Tatlisu (5/2), September Issue (11/4), Rich Again (6/1), Fredricka (7/1), Gorokai (8/1), Intibaah (12/1), Archie Stevens (18/1), Red Stripes (25/1), Burning Thread (33/1)
SEPTEMBER ISSUE has already shown how effective he is over C&D and he's only two pound higher than his last winning mark here. If he can build on his excellent second at Kempton recently, he should prove hard to beat. There's no doubt Tatlisu is well-handicapped and he bounced back into form last time but there's a doubt over whether he's as effective over the minimum trip. Rich Again should come on for his recent reappearance at this track and he's not handicapped out of things on old form.
