Cosy winner (value for more than the winning margin) when getting up late under Shane Kelly on debut over 7f at Lingfield. However, this is two grades higher and this demanding straight mile is a massively different test.
Impressive when travelling smoothly and merely shaken up to take a Class 5 7f maiden here last month. This race and step up in trip looks a logical step with his form also subsequently franked by the third placed Dubai Art winning since.
Twice a winner as a juvenile, including over 6f on the Polytrack at Kempton in June. Not disgraced thereafter at Glorious Goodwood (Class 2) before a foray to Turkey, and a half length runner up off a short break at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day.
Only prevailed by a head in a small field novice contest at Lingfield last month, despite being sent off at 30/100f, but was highly tried as a juvenile for Richard Hannon, finishing third in the Group 2 Superlative Stakes at Newmarket in July.

Simon Dow is most likely still learning about his 90,000 Guineas Newmarket October Sales purchase Mr Scaramanga. Whilst by Sir Percy, he's out of Lulla (sprint pedigree) and whether this stiff mile will prove troubling remains to be seen, with his undoubtedly noteworthy juvenile campaign run mainly over 7f. Similar concerns exist with regards pleasing Lingfield debutant winner Ay Ay, and Kempton Polytrack scorer Mailshot. However, BRITTNANIC created a most striking impression here on debut, and his experience of this track can pay dividends over this extra furlong, with that maiden form franked since.
