Two wins from four starts for this trainer and no shame in chasing home the exciting Buveur D'Air on New Year's Eve when giving weight away. Likely to front run and will be tough to crack.
Has won over fences and fair effort on comeback over 2m4f at Ludlow last month when distant runner-up to Kilcrea Vale.
Makes debut for this yard here on first start over jumps and it looks to be a major challenge for him.
Fair hurdler and comes here fit after run in Ascot Grade Two last month, uncompetitive then but interesting recruit to novice chasing nonetheless.
One of two for the trainer in this small field and has it all to prove on the formbook to get involved.
Pulled up in two starts over timber, off a year leading into this chasing bow and faces some decent rivals first time out.
Forecasts
Gino Trail (13/8), Zamdy Man (15/8), Rayvin Black (2/1), Sage Monkey (100/1), Spoilt Rotten (100/1), Mr Jim (200/1)
GINO TRAIL has plenty on at the weight and having won twice already this term but there was much to like about his recent effort at Warwick when giving best to a classy young rival receiving weight. He may take some pegging back this time. Zamdy Man is a worth adversary however should be fitter after his comeback last month while chasing newcomer Rayvin Black is not passed over easily and can get involved if relishing this jumping test. The remaining trio look to be playing supporting roles based on what we have seen before.
1. Gino Trail
2. Rayvin Black
3. Zamdy Man
