Despite the PU in the form figures he shaped far better than those letters would suggest and was still to be asked for his effort when making a bad mistake. Pulled-up soon after, spared a hard race but had shown enough aptitude for chasing to expect a better display here on his second start over fences.

This looks an open heat with a couple of improvers taking the eye in Allchilledout and BUGSIE MALONE. The former shaped much better than his pulled-up would suggest on his chasing debut and if avoiding any mishaps this time, he should go close.. Bugsie Malone has a slightly better chance on form with his fourth at Newbury reading well in the context of this race. Krackatoa King always looks a hard ride but if this turns into a slog you could not write him off here with Fingerontheswitch worthy of a mention despite under-performing over fences so far. 1.
