Has some good hurdling form, won at Fontwell in October by 8 lengths. Last two starts have been disappointing and slight suspicion that he's going the wrong way.
Point winner who won a novice at Haydock on his debut under Rules. This longer trip should suit as a test of stamina is required and open to further improvement, even under a penalty.
Hurdle and bumper form of a similar level won one in each sphere. Still looks unexposed over hurdles despite being beaten at odds-on last time.
No form in bumpers and well held on sole outing over hurdles.
Form over hurdles is only modest and looked as though he needed the run last time out at Taunton. Will appreciate the trip here but still looks outclassed.
Bumper form would give him a chance here, twice runner-up in small field bumpers. Slightly below that form on his hurdling debut but entitled to progress on his second start over obstacles.
Two starts over hurdles have been poor with the best of them coming on debut and work to do here.
Only bumper run was poor but steadily improving over hurdles and caught the eye last time out. Kept on well at Ffos Las on that run and it may well be that handicaps in the future will see him in the best light.
Showed some ability on his only start in bumpers. Failed to match that form on his first start over hurdles at Aintree and it may well be that he'll have to wait for handicaps to make his mark.
Mainly poor form over hurdles although showed a little more last time at Chepstow. Ran with enthusiasm last time and he needs this run for a mark in handicaps when he could well show his best.

A penalty makes life tougher for CONSTANTINE BAY but there was a lot to like about his win at Haydock both visually and in terms of attitude and further improvement looks likely. Affaire D’Honneur sets a fair standard on form especially on his run in the Betfair Hurdle but there is a suspicion he’s proving awkward of late and not one to get too involved with at shortish odds. Both Smoking Dixie and Pop Rockstar look to have ability and it will be interesting to see how they run with a view to the future. Prime Venture has shown a fair level of form and is another who will be expected to make a forward move in form terms.
