Made a promising start to life under rules and won a Grade 2 at the end of 2015 but seems to prefer proper summer ground and unlikely to get that here. Place chance.
Very inconsistent type who has failed to place on two attempts at this track. Has won off this mark but others look better handicapped.
Has a tendency to make jumping errors under pressure and extra distance is an unknown but still early days with this yard and talented claimer booked.
Smart prospect who had a little more in hand than the margin suggests last time out. May have been let in lightly by the handicapper and more to come.
Won well over C&D last Spring but made a disappointing return to action at Cheltenham this winter. Performed better at Ascot latest but gives the impression he wants faster ground than what is forecast here.
Significant break to overcome but has been given a chance by the handicapper. Any market move would be significant but likelihood is he will need the run.
Handicapper may be starting to catch up with him but he seems to be in the form of his life, holding on gamely to score he last time out. Clearly gets on well with this rider and he's respected in hat-trick bid.
Consistent type and this extra distance ought to help but he gives the impression even further would suit. Versitile ground wise and must have a place chance.
Enjoyed the switch back to hurdling last time after a foray into chasing finishing second of 14 at Uttoxeter. Still a little scope from a handicapping perspective and seems uncomplicated but booking of claimer tempers enthusiasm.
Seemed to bump into one when a beaten favourite last time out in novice hurdle and the third has come out and won off a mark of 124 since. Handicapper may have let him in lightly on that basis and less exposed than most of these. Should go close.
Hasn't won since 2013 and while he's gone closer in the mean time, others seem better handicapped.
Has been of warm order on last four starts but only got his head in front once and form of some of those races looks questionable.
Ran well at Exeter last time and the three directly in behind have all come out and run respectably since so it's possible the 5lb rise underestimates him and holds a chance off bottom-weight.
Forecasts
Above Board (11/4), Trans Express (9/2), Kk Lexion (6/1), Clondaw Bisto (6/1), Fortunate George (7/1), Bradford Bridge (12/1), Milord (16/1), Agincourt Reef (22/1), Hadfield (25/1), Roadie Joe (33/1), Wizards Bridge (50/1), Seven Nation Army (50/1), Ossie's Dancer (66/1)
A very competitive Class 3 hurdle with plenty of unexposed types but the narrow vote goes to the Gardener team and there runner TRANS EXPRESS. Having had the form franked of his last win, he gives the impression he's well handicapped and may be able to get the better of these off bottom weight. Bradford Bridge is one with a similar profile and their stables in flying form. Above Board is likely to be of warm order and scored with a little more than his winning margin suggested last time out.
1. Trans Express
2. Bradford Bridge
3. Above Board
