Top class horse representing stable that took this last year. Still has something to learn over fences but he looks a cut above these.

Has looked a long way below the form he showed back in the spring. Will need to be at his best to win this.

Winner of a Grade Two and a Grade Three in Ireland. Picked up by new connections for 56,000GBP in September. Interesting on debut for in form yard but may need the run.

Showed the benefit of his reappearance by hacking up at Wetherby on Boxing Day. More needed now up in the weights and raised in class but he is an improving young horse with a bright future.

Handicapper has dropped him to a mark where he may be able to do himself justice. There was more encouragement in his latest outing than we have seen for a while. Stable have won two of the last five runnings of this.

Won this last year but disappointing since on less testing ground. Would need rain to be a contender.

Looked an unlucky loser at Cheltenham when tumbling at the third last whilst travelling strongly in front. Has an obvious chance off an identical mark but his record here and on a similar track at Kempton suggests we may not see the best of him.

Forecasts

Garde La Victoire (6/4), Hollywoodien (11/4), De Faoithesdream (11/2), Bold Henry (8/1), Bright New Dawn (8/1), Ulck Du Lin (11/1), Savello (33/1)

Verdict

GARDE LA VICTOIRE is a classy sort who is more than capable of conceding weight to his rivals who all have questions to answer.. Hollywoodien is a nice young chaser and it would be a huge achievement if he could thwart the selection in receipt of just 12lb. Ulck du Lin represents a trainer and jockey in good form and he looks the pick of the rest off his new mark. 1. Garde La Victoire 2. Hollywoodien 3. Ulck Du Lin
