Didn't live up to expectations at Limerick latest and will have to do much better with top weight here.
Disappointed when last seen at Fairyhouse last January but has winning form and can go well fresh.
Has won around this track before and nothing wrong with Limerick fifth over Christmas, chance to build on that effort now.
Won over fences at Gowran Park in February 2015 but generally flattering to deceive since, including at Navan last month.
Sligo winner in September and just touched off here in November over 2m1f. A faller at Leopardstown when in with every chance since.
Three-time winner over fences, not always certain to give his running but fair effort at Thurles before Christmas and has a chance.
Navan success latest was a big step forward last time, cheekpieces on here and should get involved.
Winless from seven starts in this sphere, ran well here in November before disappointing over hurdles latest at Limerick.
Scored at Thurles penultimate start and ran well enough back there since. Should have more to come at this level.
Back from a long break and failed to complete in two starts last month, taking a heavy fall at Leopardstown on his latest outing. Confidence may need rebuilding now.
Has won over fences before but comes here after layoff following Flat campaign and hard to fancy on recent form.
Forecasts
Mick The Jiver (3/1), After Aspen (4/1), Riviera Sun (5/1), Winter Magic (13/2), Toushan (8/1), Sumos Novios (10/1), Curragh Na Gold (10/1), Rightville Boy (14/1), Toubaloo (20/1), Bottle Rattler (25/1), Tajweed (50/1)
AFTER ASPEN took a positive step with his recent Navan success and there could be more to come after just his fifth chase start. Mick The Jiver is sure to give him plenty to think about based on recent efforts at Thurles. Curragh Na Gold is forgiven a flop over hurdles at Limerick and would have a chance based on his previous effort at this venue while Toushan is also respected back around here. Riviera Sun had been in good heart before his recent fall and will be a threat if none the worse.
1. After Aspen
2. Riviera Sun
3. Mick The Jiver
