Won at this course last time out and has won over further in the past so the step up in trip shouldn't be an issue. Carries a six-pound penalty for that narrow success but she's in form at least.
Excellent second behind Testa Rossa last time at Newcastle and that winner has come out and won again since. She was the only one that could stay on with the pace on that occasion so that looks like strong form and she's low mileage. Leading claims.
Entitled to win a weak Chelmsford maiden last time but ought to improve and will be interesting to see what the market makes of her.
Former Godolphin recruit who made just one start in France. Had another long break and makes her debut for a new yard so hard to fancy but any market move could be significant.
Reeled off a hat-trick in 2015, the first leg of which came around here. Well below last winning mark now but with good reason and she desperately needs to bounce back.
Still a maiden after ten starts and has shown ability at times but one would think she's had easier chances to get off the mark than this. Makes debut for new yard who do well with recruits from larger stables.
Has had an interrupted career since scoring at Ayr last year and well-being must be taken on trust. Claims if bouncing back to that kind of form.
Two wins on the flat from 23 starts. Looks well-handicapped on hurdles form but yet to show it on the Flat.
Forecasts
Absolute Blast (4/5), Daisy Bere (3/1), Vogueatti (5/1), Favorite Girl (12/1), Heartstone (18/1), Edge Of Heaven (20/1), Sattelac (28/1), Langlauf (33/1)
ABSOLUTE BLAST performed with great credit last time, sticking on from the front and not many manage that at Newcastle. The horse that reached her has come out and won again since after going up 7lb in the handicap so there's a good chance she's well in. Daisy Bere is in good form and her stable's runners have been going well. Heartstone has her first start for the David Evans yard and he tends to do well with such recruits.
1. Absolute Blast
2. Daisy Bere
3. Heartstone
