£60,000 purchase after wininng a four runner point-to-point last February and joined the Greatrex team just a fortnight ago. Likely to be there or thereabouts on this rules debut.
Winged Love gelding who is a half-brother to no less than seven individual winners. Represents powerful connections and any market interest in him would tell its own story.

Cost €150,000 last year and is well related on the dam's side to a number of talented performers. Trainer has an excellent 32% strike rate at this track over the last five years so has to be very seriously considered on debut.
Highly tried on bumper debut behind Barters Hill and duly outclassed. Better effort after long absence on first start for current trainer when seventh at Newcastle last month but needs to do better in what looks a decent race today.

A €27,000 purchase in June 2014 and favourite when third in point-to-point a year later. Interesting prospect but may find this tough today.

Well beaten when last of five on racecourse bow at Southwell in November and needs to improve significantly this afternoon to have any say in proceedings in a better race.
Not unfancied on racecourse debut at Carlisle at the end of October when sent off at just 9/2 but could only finish eighth of the 11 runners and this looks a tougher task. Should have benefitted from that experience though and is a potential improver.

An eyecatching fourth of 14 on his racecourse debut at Newcastle 20 days when staying on nicely through the final three furlongs. The booking of Richard Johnson looks noteworthy and trainer is more than capable of producing a decent horse. so has to be a major contender for honours today.
Looked very green on debut at Huntingdon in October where he pulled hard in the early stages before tiring some way from home. Sent off at just 15/2 though so may have shown ability at home, but much better needed today.

Forecasts

Cirano De Sivola (6/4), Hear No Evil (9/4), Nevada (13/2), Some Reign (8/1), Glittering Love (9/1), Brunel Woods (16/1), Skywards Reward (25/1), Diamant de L'Ouest (25/1), Sam's Gunner (33/1), Psychocandy (66/1)

Verdict

NEVADA caught the eye staying on well into fourth on his debut at Newcastle last month, clearly getting the hang of things late on. He could well be primed to score today with the champion jockey taking over. The expensive purchase Hear No Evil is well related and represents the right connections so is very much respected , as too are both Glittering Love and Cirano De Sivola, who have the potential to be decent at this game. 1. Nevada 2. Hear No Evil 3. Glittering Love
