Age: 9|  Weight: 12-1| J: Charlie Deutsch(3)| T: Miss V Williams| OR:  112

Lightly raced for her age, with things not going her way since a promising debut NHF success at Carlisle in October 2014. Showed more last time before falling, and dropping in grade on first try at this trip.

Cowslipp8
Age: 8|  Weight: 12-0| J: W T Kennedy| T: D McCain Jnr| OR:  111
28/1
Rattled off a hat-trick for George Moore in March 2015, but overall not as effective since off elevated marks despite scoring for this yard off 110 at Cartmel in August. Stamina to prove at this trip and wouldn't want ground to soften any further.

Justatenner19
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: G B Watters(3)| T: C E Longsdon| OR:  109
18/1
Sole success from a 3lbs lower mark for Colin Tizzard at Uttoxeter in March (2 miles). Third over hurdles on debut for this yard at about this trip two starts back, before seemingly not enjoying the switch to fences last time at Musselburgh.

Debt To Societyp,t22
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-11| J: Miss Becky Smith(7)| T: R Ford| OR:  108
33/1
Seven time winner from 50 starts under rules (5-29 over hurdles). Rattled off a quick double in the summer at Uttoxeter and Market Rasen, before probably needing comeback at Sedgefield. Showed more at Fakenham last time but 6lbs higher than last winning mark.

Should I Stay17
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-8| J: Mr Garry Lavery(7)| T: A D Brown| OR:  105
40/1
Very lightly raced since scoring on last start for Gary Moore at Huntingdon in April 2014. Sole start for this yard coming 13 months ago at Catterick, and fitness questions to be answered.

Magic Mustardt25
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-8| J: J E Moore| T: Kerry Lee| OR:  105
7/2
Ex Charlie Longsdon, and twice a winner in four starts for this yard, including here just before Christmas, when taking a Class 5 event by half a length. Up 6lbs (and in grade to a Class 4) but thriving for this yard with a likeable attitude.
7
Horse silk
Petite Powert18
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-8| J: P J Brennan| T: F O'Brien| OR:  105
7/4
PTP winner with a largely unconvincing profile under rules. Best run over hurdles came over 12 months back when second at Leicester (on hurdles debut) for Ali Stronge and absent since June, with this being his debut for this yard.
8
Horse silk
Be Seeing Youp,t30
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-8| J: M Hamill(7)| T: T Wall| OR:  105
25/1
Twice a hurdles winner in Ireland for Gordon Elliott, and second on final start for that yard at Worcester in September. Only fifth of seven on debut for this yard at Chepstow in November, and others preferred.
9
Horse silk
Scooby28
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-7| J: Kielan Woods| T: D Killahena & G McPherson| OR:  104
7/2
Maiden in nine starts to date, but small signs of progress the last twice, including when third on penultimate start at Huntingdon in November. First attempt at this trip.
10
Horse silk
Sweetlittlekittyp,t155
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-5| J: Aidan Coleman| T: Miss R Curtis| OR:  102
16/1
33/1 winner on sixth start under rules when upped to 2m 7f at Worcester in June. Off for 5 months, and possibly needed the run when weakening sixth of eight at Leicester (2m 4f) in early December. Most likely suited stepping back up in trip.

Forecasts

Petite Power (7/4), Scooby (7/2), Magic Mustard (7/2), Becauseshesaidso (8/1), Sweetlittlekitty (16/1), Justatenner (18/1), Be Seeing You (25/1), Cowslip (28/1), Debt To Society (33/1), Should I Stay (40/1)

Verdict

Plenty of these horses are trying this trip for the first time including the dropping in grade Becauseshesaidso, and the four time hurdles winner Cowslip. However, the likes of MAGIC MUSTARD (already a course winner) and Sweetlittlekitty have winning form over this trip. Whilst the latter has to do better than at Leicester, she may be capable of better with the benefit of that run but the thoroughly likeable Kerry Lee trained six year old Magic Mustard gets the vote to record a third success in just five starts for his new yard. 1. Magic Mustard 2. Sweetlittlekitty 3. Becauseshesaidso
