Will come on for the run after having plenty of use made of him last time. Has gone well off this mark in the past and is not without a chance.

All three career victories have come here. Has gone well on both starts for his new yard and looks feasibly well handicapped on his best form.

Showed improved form for the application of cheekpieces. Stable form is a concern as they are without a winner since October.

Giant of a horse who will relish the conditions. Stable in better form now than when pulled up last time but still difficult to fancy until showing more.

Has failed to progress since his C&D victory last February. Visor is tried for the first time.

Two of his best performances have come here so it would come as no surprise should he exploit a career low mark.

Yard do not have a particularly good strike rate here. Blinkers are reapplied but he may want better ground.

Alway runs well here and took this twelve months ago. Ran out a most impressive winner over the C&D in November and not disgraced next time. Clearly the one to beat.
Rarely runs two races alike. Gets a healthy 10lb pull with Lochnell on running here in November. Well beaten since but may be a different proposition back on this track.

Forecasts

Plus Jamais (11/4), Lochnell (3/1), Rocklim (7/2), Rowdy Rocher (5/1), Transient Bay (12/1), Turtle Cask (14/1), Bertalus (20/1), Valid Reason (25/1), Cinder Rua (33/1)

Verdict

LOCHNELL arrives with fewer questions to answer than her rivals. Recent efforts have attracted attention from the handicapper but she remains on an attractive mark. Another Irish raider Cinder Rua is on a good mark too and will have conditions to suit whilst Rocklim ran well enough last time to suggest he will be a factor. 1. Lochnell 2. Cinder Rua 3. Rocklim
