Bumper winner stuck to his task gamely to score first time out over hurdles at the track last month. Steps up from two-miles today and plenty to like about Alan King's charge.

Took Ayr bumper on soft in July and showed a good turn of foot from the last at Market Rasen in November to open hurdles account at the first time of asking.
Not much shown in three Irish starts but has joined the Venetia Williams team and is worth a check in the market.

Formerly with Jim Culloty in Ireland, plenty promise in Cheltenham bumper in October, not disgraced in Listed contest back there last month. Makes hurdling bow here and is an interesting runner.

Ben Pauling's hurdlers are in fine fettle but this one god rid of Richie McLernon at Towcester last week and has to prove his jumping technique now.

Racecourse bow in a Ffos Las bumper last month when never looking likely to outrun her odds.
Cheltenham bumper winner in April, didn't match that form back there in November and now switches to hurdles for Oliver Sherwood.

Nothing in two bumper starts this year to suggest he will have the measure of today's rivals on jumping bow.
A bit too keen when he let favourite backers down in a Ffos Las bumper last month. Has the champion jockey to help settle him this afternoon.
Three-figure SPs on three most recent runs over hurdles and beat just one of 29 rivals past the post. No reason to doubt that form will continue.

Didn't show a lot on sole bumper start and despite the Skelton-effect in these contests, she's got plenty on to win here.

Was behind Wizard's Sliabh at Market Rasen on hurdles bow in November. Since run a good race over shorter at Towcester. Entitled to be on the premises at the weights.

Forecasts

Brillare Momento (5/2), Tara View (3/1), Tinted Rose (4/1), Wizard's Sliabh (13/2), Midnight Glory (15/2), Eloped (16/1), Hitherjacques Lady (20/1), Ballybrowneybridge (20/1), Sauvignon (33/1), Following Mama (100/1), Jaunty Clementine (200/1), Outrageous Romana (250/1)

Verdict

WIZARD SLIABH showed good speed to score at Market Rasen last month and, if her jumping has improved a notch she could be doing her best work at the finish. Alan King's Tara View has done little wrong so far and should be thereabouts again if handling this new trip. Brillare Momento didn't match expectations at Cheltenham on her latest outing but should do better over hurdles. Ben Pauling's Eloped scuppered his chance very early last week and should be given a second chance. 1. Wizard's Sliabh 2. Tara View 3. Eloped
