Produced a poor effort when tailed off last time. It is possible something was amiss but he has looked harshly treated since his Ascot success. His trainer does well here and his horses ran well on Saturday. It would appear a recent poor spell may be behind them.
Comes into this race in form but facing a career high mark. He has gone well for today's rider on his last two starts. His trainer does well on her rare ventures here. He has conditions to suit but faces a stiff task at the weights if his rivals recapture their best form.
Struggled since landing the 2013 Scottish National but he has slipped to an attractive mark for a yard showing signs of hitting form. Will relish the conditions and a market move should be noted.

GODSMEJUDGE is dropping down the weights but with good reason. He has struggled to be competitive in his recent starts and having failed to win over three years he must be considered a risk. CAULFIELDS VENTURE won last time but rarely runs two races alike. He will need to produce a career best to win this if his rivals are within a few pounds of their peak and that may be demanding too much.
