Out of an unraced granddaughter of Paddy Mullins’s Irish Oaks winner Vintage Tipple, Wings On Wheels has the looks to go with his good pedigree, and ran well to be runner-up on the second of two starts in Irish points. That run showed that his future ought to lie over fences and he goes chasing at an appropriately lowly level for a trainer with a positive course record. The step up from 2m will suit a horse who did his best work late on that point run, and he capable of a big run in the circumstances.
