Precise heads the ratings in the bet365 Fillies' Mile with Timeform having her 5lb clear on 122p with stablemate Composing second best.

A third Aidan O'Brien-trained filly, Sugar Island, is third in and she has the 'p' next to her rating as does Joseph O'Brien's Queen Of Hawaii.

Legacy Link has plenty to find on the bare form, but she is a Timeform Horse In Focus following her last run at Haydock.

Fran Berry Insight

Precise stepped up from her Goodwood success to win the Moyglare in very good fashion last time and that makes her the one to beat in the Group 1 bet365 Fillies’ Mile.

On that occasion there was a strong headwind and she was ridden cold, but she did come through to beat Beautify in a really good manner.

She has improved plenty as the year as gone.

You couldn’t rule out more improvement stepping up to a mile given she is out of a Galileo mare, so she’s obviously a worth favourite, but you can’t rule improvement from the other fillies at this time of year, either, so at the prices I’d rather take her on.

Legacy Link is respected for the Gosdens after creating a big impression at Haydock and Dance To The Music didn’t have the smoothest of trips at Woodbine last time, but the one I’m interested in is Joseph O’Brien’s QUEEN OF HAWAII.

This filly by Kingman has created a really good impression in three runs to date and though she needs to improve there could well be more to come from her.

Given the manner she won at Leopardstown and the Curragh, the way she hit the line, it all suggests there’s further to come for a yard that has won this race a couple of times.

It’s a fascinating renewal and while I have plenty of respect for those at the top of the market I can’t resist the potential of Joseph’s filly at the odds.
