Pick 7 free tipping game at Windsor

Our resident tipster Man On The Spot previews the races that comprise Monday's free to play £1,000 Pick 7 game at Windsor.

5.10 Royal Windsor Racecourse App Maiden Auction Fillies' Stakes

BHINDI sets the standard in this on her latest second over track and trip as she would have given the winner plenty to think about had she not been hampered. Arden Pearl would almost certainly need to improve on her third at Lingfield to figure but Eesha Beauty and Compton Grace are probably capable of better. A newcomer would not need to be anything special to be in the firing-line and Rupert’s Lass, a half-sister to a winning miler, may be the best of those.

5.45 MacDonald Hotel Handicap

RAJ BALARAAJ (NAP) ran a fine race trying this longer trip for the first time at Newbury. He could have done without a 2lb rise but looks the one to beat ahead of Funky Footsteps, who have yet to race beyond a mile. Bayston Hill is pretty much exposed but is usually thereabouts and Ode To Glory has been placed the last twice, though never looked like winning on either occasion. Pretty Obvious will almost certainly be going hurdling this winter.

6.15 Sky Bet Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap

SIR PLATO has already won four times this year, including three times over course and distance. His latest run at Sandown can be ignored as it was over 1m2f and Rod Millman’s charge will be tough to beat again. Prost might be a danger as he probably needed the run last month at Sandown while Calvados Spirit has been edging closer as he slips down the weights. Carnival King has been well beaten when attempting this trip in the past, however, and Grand Inquisitor has shown very little since switching stables.

The Pick 7 is free to play and you could win £1,000 tonight!

6.45 Sky Bet Windsor Sprint Series Handicap

Ice Age was prominent for a long way in a better race at Newmarket last time but that was over 5f. Ashpan Sam and Clear Spring are veterans nowadays but both have been showing signs of a revival lately. Bahamian Dollar has won two of his last three so has to go on the short-list and Handytalk is also respected, though connections seem undecided over his best trip. SEEKING MAGIC has only been raised 2lb since returning to winning ways at Nottingham. Though another who has been around for while, he’s still not badly treated on his best form and a follow-up could be on the cards. Major Pusey looks best of the rest.

7.15 Sportnation Take Advantage Maiden Fillies' Stakes

An interesting maiden with Sea Tide sure to be popular having gone close in all three starts to date. She didn’t have much luck in-running at Nottingham last month while Meccabah was only beaten a nose at Goodwood in June and has also been knocking on the door. SUPERIORITYCOMPLEX was just beaten at Salisbury in June and then come up against a promising type at Doncaster, who has won since. Sir Michael Stoute’s filly could get off the mark this evening, though Jafetica and Romina are likely improvers.

7.45 Sportnation UK's Newest Bookmaker Handicap

Chunkyfunkymonkey had only won a claimer prior to making all at Yarmouth and may not get his own way out in front today as Solent Meads is also headstrong. St Andrews hasn’t managed a win in 14 previous attempts and has been tried over a variety of trips so we’ll give a tentative vote to LET’S BE HAPPY. Richard Hughes’ filly was placed over this trip on Polytrack in June and her overall form is as strong as any in a modest heat.

8.15 Sky Bet Horseracing Cash Out Handicap

ZIPEDEEDODAH is rated much lower on Turf than the all-weather but is perfectly capable on this surface, as he showed last time at Ffos Las. Joseph Tuite’s grey looks a bit better than these and can defy his big weight. Hollander looks held while Red Invader does most of his winning on Polytrack nowadays. Flowing Clarets seems best at Lingfield but has been placed twice off this mark recently and John Joiner is edging towards a winning mark so can’t be ignored.
