Dakota Gold's remarkable summer continued as Michael Dods' sprinter completed a quick hat-trick in Wednesday's Sky Bet And Symphony Group Handicap at York.
The rapidly-improving five-year-old, sent off the 4/1 favourite under Connor Beasley, was following up Saturday's impressive success in the William Hill Great St Wilfrid at Ripon, defying a 5lb penalty in the process.
The comfortable three-quarters of a length win over 11/1 shot Marnie James - who was having his first start for the Jedd O'Keeffe team - was the third leg of a rare treble after Dakota Gold had also struck in the Sky Bet Dash on the Knavesmire at the end of July.
Third went to Arecibo (11/1) and 40/1 outsider Makanah was fourth.
Sky Bet clipped the winner a point to 9/1 for the Ayr Gold Cup.
Dods said: "He's in the form of his life - to come out and do what he's done in the last five weeks is unbelievable.
"He's improving big time and he's run another super race there. The ground is quick enough for him - he's better on soft."
"We're going for the Ayr Gold Cup, that was the plan," the trainer added.
