Henrietta Knight heaped praise on Newbury winner Your Darling, labelling Lord Vestey's charge "as good a horse as Best Mate".
Trained by Ben Pauling, the five-year-old was bought by the former trainer and lowered the colours of Sprinter Sacre's full-brother Flinteur Sacre in the closing Premier Food Courts Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race at the Berkshire track.
After seeing Nico De Boinville steer Your Darling to a three-and-a-quarter lengths success Knight said: "I think he could be top class, as I know the family well. I had been watching the horse all the time in Ireland, but I had a hell of a job getting him," Knight said.
"This is as good a horse as Best Mate. I bought him in Ireland from the same place."
The winning trainer added: "I think this is a proper horse and is probably as good as I've had. I think a huge amount of Bright Forecast and this lad is up there with him. It is a long time since I've had a bumper horse like this."
