Cheltenham Festival 2017: Results, Reports & Replays

Last Updated March 19 2017, 19:06Racing

The 2017 Cheltenham Festival has come to a close after a memorable four days (March 14-17) and you can look back on how the action unfolded with all the results, reports and free video replays.

On day one, Buveur D'Air produced a stunning display to claim glory in the Stan James Champion Hurdle while Altior justified hot favourtism in the Racing Post Arkle and Labaik caused a shock in the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle.

On Wednesday, one of the heroes from 2016, Douvan, saw his unbeaten record come to a limp end at 2/9 as Special Tiara won the Queen Mother Champion Chase while Might Bite won an extraordinary renewal of the RSA Novices' Chase.

Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh had endured a fruitless opening two days but they bounced back emphatically on Thursday with a memorable four-timer as Yorkhill and Un De Sceaux delivered before Nichols Canyon landed the Sun Bets Stayers' Hurdle, while Let's Dance also triumphed for the duo.

The four-day Festival came a rousing conclusion with Jessica Harrington's Sizing John winning the Timico Cheltenham Gold Cup.

The seven-year-old, winner of the Irish Gold Cup at Leopardstown, was Harrington's first ever runner in National Hunt racing's blue riband but overcame doubts over his stamina to storm home to a clear-cut success.

Here, you can look back on every result, report and free video replay, while we have the rankings of the top trainers and jockeys. You can even still check out all our pre-Festival features if you really wish!
