Yourholidayisover is a consistent horse in this grade and comes off a fair run on the level over a mile and a half at Chepstow.

He's likely to appreciate a decent-run race and that could be provided by DICA, who has put together three solid runs for the grade and has every chance of adding another victory to his name off a mark of 102.

Another horse who likes coming off the pace is Endeavour. He has been backed overnight but he doesn't excite me at odds of 7/2 - it's hard to knock his last two runs.  However, there has to be a slight concern that this race may come to soon after his second at Southwell.

The most unexposed horse is MISS MACKIE and in a race of this quality this type of horse is always worth a double take.

Last year she ran a couple of fair races over hurdles off higher marks. On her first start this year she ran keen enough and that run would've blown the cobwebs away. Next time she was well supported but never really got in a blow.

Last time out, on her chase debut, she had no chance at the weights and although beaten a long way it was a reasonably-encouraging effort. Her jumping wasn't the greatest but she showed ability to keep tabs with far superior horses for a long way.

She jumped left that day so Cartmel should help her in that sphere. She handles a bit of dig in the ground and running in a handicap off her true mark, she could prove to be a lot more competitive than her odds imply.

Shady Glen will have his supporters but he's not a horse I would put my full trust in just yet.

Brother Scott is a consistent type of late and a repetition of his last run will see him go close.

APACHE JACK is a horse of interest. Three years ago he finished third at the Cheltenham Festival in the Grade 1 Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle.

Over the past year he has been regressive and has now dropped to a lowly mark of 115. The main factor for having a bet on him today is that it's his first start for trainer Steven Crawford. If he shows any glimpses of his old form he could outclass these.

MAD JACK MYTTON is a horse who has always possessed a touch of class.

He lost a bit of confidence in chases and had been running over a variety of trips. Last time out he dropped back to the minimum trip and won comfortably.

I don't think a mark of 137 is beyond him and 13/2 looks fair value.

TANGOLAN seems overpriced simply based on the fact he is very well handicapped on his chase form.

He's a horse whose confidence is sky high and at 13/2 is worth a small play.
