We've got our preview, predictions and best bets from another Sunday triple-header of live NFL action including an AFC Championship rematch.
Chiefs fans are getting very excited about their new quarterback Patrick Mahomes after his four-touchdown display in their win over the Chargers last week, where he also displayed nifty footwork in the run game.
The mood in Pittsburgh is a lot more glum with Le’Veon Bell still holding out and now QB Ben Roethlisberger a big doubt for the game with bruised elbow. Having second-year man Joshua Dobbs under centre makes the Steelers a much easier prospect.
The Steelers have won seven of the last eight against the Chiefs but without Roethlisberger and their star running back in could be an uphill battle keeping pace with the Chiefs’ high octane offence.
Tyreek Hill tallied 169 yards receiving, two TDs and a 91-yard punt return in a super human effort last week – although Pittsburgh is the only team he’s faced that has managed to bottle up his big-play ability - so far.
Pick: Chiefs to win at 15/8
Best bet: Tyreek Hill to score twice 7/1
Revenge is firmly on the menu for the Jaguars who were just a few minutes away from the Super Bowl before Tom Brady led yet another New England Patriots comeback in the AFC Championship game.
Jacksonville’s all-star defence will be fired up to contain Brady and co, but that’s never been an easy task over the years and this will be a great test of both sides and their Super Bowl credentials even this early in the season.
Brady’s never lost to the Jags but the time could be now with Rob Gronkowski by far his most trusted and valued weapon with other options looking thin on the ground - Phillip Dorsett and Chris Hogan lead the receiving ranks.
Pick: Jaguars to win at evens
Best bet: Rob Gronkowski first TD scorer at 12/1
It’s a great NFC East rivalry between these two but they’ve not been at their best of recent season and both will be desperate to get that first win on the board as they clash in Texas. It’d be a fourth time in five years the Giants started 0-2 if they lose.
There was certainly more to like about the Giants’ defeat to the Jaguars than the Cowboys’ loss to Carolina – which saw them shut out for three quarters. Saquon Barkley looked the real deal for New York and how he performs against opposition running back Ezekiel Elliott could decide this game.
Dallas has won two out of the last three at home in this fixture and outscored the Giants 49-13 in two wins last season, but there’s just a sense new coach Pat Shurmur has the Giants on an upward curve.
Pick: Giants to win at 11/8
