🤝 COLE SET FOR LAMPARD REUNION?

Ashley Cole will be leaving LA Galaxy
Could Ashley Cole be returning to England with Derby?

A lot of talk about Ashley Cole returning to England and linking up with former Chelsea and England team-mate Frank Lampard at Derby County. Cole's stint with the LA Galaxy in America has ended and he's a free transfer so would of course be of interest for any side in the Premier League, let alone the Sky Bet Championship.

His experience would be a huge boost for the Rams entering the crucial part of the season.

😲 ‘BARCA WOULD BACK NEYMAR-COUTINHO SWAP’

Barcelona would "seize upon" a Neymar and Philippe Coutinho swap, if the Paris Saint-Germain forward became available, Graham Hunter has told the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast.

"They have great plans that if Neymar comes on the market, which is feasible because of his own personal preference and because PSG are still subject to stringent checks on whether they have or haven't breached Financial Fair Play.

"Philippe Coutinho was bought at a time when Barcelona were smarting from the way they had been treated by Neymar, they were short of answers, they set their hearts on the player and they wanted to give a very quick sop to their fans and sponsors.

"But it hasn't worked out the way in which either party fancied that it would. If there was an opportunity to do something with PSG, where Coutinho went to PSG and Neymar came back to the Camp Nou, then the people on the board would absolutely seize upon it."

🇪🇸 BARCA ENTER MORATA RACE

Barcelona are ready to battle Atletico Madrid for Alvaro Morata, reports Mundo Deportivo.

MALCOM COULD BE SPURS BOUND

Tottenham are in talks with Barcelona over a move for winger Malcom, reports Sport.

The La Liga champions are prepared to cut their losses on the 21-year-old Brazil international, who has struggled to adapt at the Camp Nou following his £36m switch from Bordeaux last summer.

MORE ON HIGUAIN

Gonzalo Higuain declined to comment on reports of a move to Chelsea on his return to Italy in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The 31-year-old Argentina striker played under Maurizio Sarri at Napoli and a reunion with the Chelsea boss could happen this month, with speculation mounting in Italy.

Higuain, currently on loan at AC Milan, came off the bench in Wednesday night's Supercoppa Italiana loss to parent club Juventus in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Any deal is complicated, given Higuain's deal with Milan runs until the end of the season, and Chelsea are usually reluctant to commit to deals with older players.

"If you are looking for troubles, you won't find them with me," Higuain told Italian media who met him on his arrival at Milan's Malpensa airport.

Michy Batshuayi, another Chelsea striker, is currently on loan at Valencia, who wish to cut his deal short.

Monaco have been linked with the Belgium striker, but on Wednesday said Chelsea favour a permanent deal for Batshuayi to leave, rather than a further loan.
