Ahead of the 2023 World Matchplay in Blackpool, Paul Nicholson ranks the top five major champions in PDC darts history.
Nobody will be surprised to learn who is top of the list and judging by the numbers, it's hard to imagine anyone ever catching him.
But the other four will be looking to add to their tallies in the coming months and years to cement their place in the top three.
By 'majors' we are including current ones:
- World Championship
- World Matchplay
- Premier League
- World Grand Prix
- UK Open
- Grand Slam of Darts
- European Championship
- Players Championship Finals
- Masters
- World Series of Darts Finals
And these past majors:
- Champions League
- Las Vegas Desert Classic
