Nature Valley International: Caroline Wozniacki triumphs at Eastbourne


Top seed Caroline Wozniacki won the Nature Valley International at Eastbourne for the second time in her career with a 7-5 7-6 (7/5) victory over Aryna Sabalenka.

Belarusian Sabalenka had been the surprise package of the week at Devonshire Park and she served for both sets but Wozniacki, who first won the title nine years ago as a teenager, fought back.

After the Australian Open, it is the second time this season the Dane has claimed a title after saving a match point, with Wozniacki a point away from defeat in her semi-final victory over Angelique Kerber.
