Top seeds Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Lucie Safarova bagged their third straight women's doubles Grand Slam title by beating Ashleigh Barty and Casey Dellacqua 6-2 6-1 in the French Open final.
Mattek-Sands and Safarova eased to victory in straight sets against the Australian duo, who failed in their bid to win a first Grand Slam title.
The Australian Open title went to Mattek-Sands and Safarova earlier this year to follow on from success in the 2016 US Open.
Dellacqua's serve was broken twice in the first set as the top seeds took the advantage and they didn't look back on the way to the title.
In the second set, Dellacqua's serve was broken twice again to make it three Grand Slam titles in a row for Mattek-Sands and Safarova. They will now look to complete the set at Wimbledon.
"We played really well today," Mattek-Sands said.
"We played a good team. We watched them play their semi-final match. They beat another good team in three sets, so we were kind of ready with what they were going to bring out on the court."
