Free snooker betting tips: Ronnie O'Sullivan and Liang Wenbo to star in the Welsh Open

Ronnie O'Sullivan is in action in the Welsh Open while Richard Mann fancies Liang Wenbo to cover the handicap in his clash with Robbie Williams.

Recommended bets: Welsh Open round three

2pts win Liang Wenbo (-1.5) to beat Robbie Williams at 10/11

Ronnie O'Sullivan was once again in supreme form when brushing aside Graeme Dott 4-0 in the Welsh Open last night.

The Rocket knocked in breaks of 106 and 69 in a facile whitewash and it is hard to envisage his third round opponent, David Grace, putting a halt to his progress.

Fresh from his World Grand Prix success in Preston last week, O'Sullivan's fourth ranking title of the season, he is now 7/4 to lift the trophy in Cardiff following the exits of a number of the game's high-profile players over the last couple of days.

Quotes of 1-8 for today's match make no appeal for betting purposes, though, and Liang Wenbo, who did readers a good turn last night, looks a better bet to cover the handicap (-1.5 frames) at 5/6 in his match.

Wenbo claimed the huge scalp of current World Champion Mark Selby last night and for once, didn't rely on his strong break building and long potting.

The world number 19 more than held his own in the safety department, something that not many can claim to have done against Selby, and managed to pinch a few tight frames.

With his game clearly in good order at present, and his confidence bound to be sky high, he should have too many guns for Robbie Williams who booked his place in round three with victory over Ian Preece.
