Yamana (13/8), Star Rose (11/4), Somerton (3/1), Gran Dia (6/1), Shared Odyssey (20/1), Martaban (33/1), Humble Pyle (40/1), Hecataeus (50/1), Sir Marryat (66/1), Boy's Slipper (100/1), Seagoing (200/1), Warriors Chant (400/1)
Ralph Beckett has a fine record in this so his Frankel newcomer YAMANA, who fetched 1,500,000 guineas as a yearling, is taken to make a winning start at the chief expense of Somerton, who rates the clear pick of those with experience. A few other debutants also catch the eye though, including Gran Dia and the selection's stablemate Star Rose, in this fascinating novice.
