Verdict

This is wide open but it could pay to side with FRENCH DUKE who hasn't been seen to best effect on his last 2 runs at Ascot and Southwell and has slipped to a handy-looking mark for his in-form handler. Master Vintner showed the benefit of blinkers when going in at Thirsk last time and rates a big threat with likely more to offer, while the consistent Tycoon can also play a prominent role with Ryan Moore in the saddle. The Irish-trained duo Truth Be Told and Zanndabad complete the shortlist.

  1. FRENCH DUKE (IRE)
  2. MASTER VINTNER (IRE)
  3. TYCOON
