Johnston is triple-handed with the previous C&D winners MAKYON, Good Night Mr Tom and One Hart, while Fahey relies upon the Chester regulars National League and The New Marwan. The selection was a shade disappointing when turned over at short odds by a Fahey-trained runner (Pop Dancer) in a Musselburgh conditions stakes latest but a chance is taken that he can bounce swiftly back to his earlier form, and if doing so must take the beating from an official BHA handicap mark of 93.
