The two J P McManus runners, Carried and PASS THE BALL could contest the early lead here and could have a couple of these in trouble before half-way. Preference is for the latter who ran well here last winter and his yard having a 60% strike rate since 2015 here with runners at this venue, early October/late November. Alfirak, Claregate Street and California Lad all have strong form at this venue and are all capable of hitting the frame.
