An upmarket handicap for the track and one that will take some winning with a good mixture of those tuned-up on the AW and some kept fresh for this.
Tony Curtis represents last year’s winning yard and although he was only lightly-raced last year he comes here with a leading chance on his handicap form so far.
Constantino will need to reproduce his AW form back on turf and there remains a suspicion that he is best fresh.
EXAMINER ended last year with a good run in the Cambridgeshire and given a pipe-opener on the AW he looks an ideal type for a test such as this.
Sir Roderic is lurking on a dangerous looking mark and can’t be discounted.
