Verdict

A compact field, but certain to be keenly competed for by the Lady Riders' with a special prize of diamond jewellery to accompany the more traditional monetary earnings. The Skelton brothers appear to have prepped RAVENS HILL for this contest with Bridget Andrews taking over in the saddle and whilst this is a tougher race than those the four-year-old has plundered with ease at Sedgefield and Uttoxeter, he appears tough to beat unless the conditions are really testing (good to soft, soft in places at the time of writing). Of the remainder, C&D experience isn't in short supply, and perhaps 2016 winner Baby Jake is the likeliest danger having warmed up for his defence with a fluent success on the Flat at Bellewstown.
