Half-brother to a well above-average staying chaser and showed a bit more than on debut when fourth of 5 in bumper at Warwick in May. Step up in trip should suit as he goes hurdling, but appeals as more one for the longer term.

From a family his trainer knows well and took a step forward making his third bumper start when opening account in 8-runner contest at this track in March. Could be in the mix on hurdles bow if ready to go after 7 months off.

€42,000 3-y-o, £35,000 4-y-o, Walzertakt gelding. Dam hurdle/chase winner around 2m. Point winner at the third time of asking in February and stable had a well backed hurdling newcomer score at Cheltenham's opening meeting.
€23,000 3-y-o, £27,000 4-y-o, Westerner gelding. Dam unraced. Off the mark in Irish points at the third attempt in October last year. Makes Rules debut (wears hood) with yard going well, including success with a hurdling debutant to start this month.
Fair winner on the Flat for Rod Millman in 2024 but little impact in varied events over hurdles for current trainer early this year. After 6 months off, clipped heels and unseated rider on the Flat at Bath in October. Looks to be up against it back hurdling.

Manatee gelding. Brother to fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser Farrokh. Dam 17f-19f hurdle winner in France. Worth a market check on debut for his respected stable.
€105,000 3-y-o. Walk In The Park gelding. Dam, ran once in bumper, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 3¼m) Martha Brae out of fairly useful hurdler/winning chaser (stayed 21f) Harringay. Won only start in Irish points 11 months ago and yard capable of readying one on hurdling debut.
Offered little on debut when tenth of 12 in bumper at Wincanton back in January 2025. Hood applied as he makes first start over hurdles after 21-month absence.
|
Comfortable winner of an Irish point, but failed to meet expectations on Rules debut when sixth of 14 in bumper at Kempton in February. However, he's one to note as he goes hurdling for his leading yard, especially if the support returns.
|
£240,000 purchase after winning his sole outing in Irish points and confirmed the promise of his bumper debut when landing the odds in 4-runner contest at Carlisle in March. Form from both bumpers has been boosted since and looks a good prospect for hurdling.
|
Maxios gelding. Half-brother to winning hurdler/useful chaser Passing Diamond. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler (2m/17f winner) Wouldn't You Agree. Runner-up on last of 3 starts in Irish points in March.
Runner-up sole outing in Irish points, but only modest form in a trio of bumpers last season and tailed off both starts over hurdles last month.
|
Getaway gelding. Half-brother to modest hurdler Jacksbar, stays 3m. Represents powerful yard, though looks to be the stable's second string based on jockey bookings.
Took a step forward from his first outing when fourth of 8 in bumper at Stratford a month ago, despite still looking in need of the experience. Step up in trip should suit as he starts off over hurdles.

£20,000 4-y-o, Idaho filly. Closely related to winning hurdler/useful chaser I'd Like To Know (2m-2½m winner). Runner-up in an Irish point in May, but could be one for further down the line as she makes Rules debut.
Forecasts
Red Acres Max (11/4), Cool Customer (3/1), New Rules (3/1), Pitch And Toss (8/1), Double Ten (12/1), Gettothebar (12/1), Docket Man (16/1), Secret Jet Away (25/1), Irishcoffee (25/1), Purple Fountain (25/1), Riseandcall (25/1), Barascaria Ten (33/1), Petit Galet (66/1), Forest Hills (150/1), Saint Invictus (150/1)
RED ACRES MAX made a bright start to his career in bumpers, getting off the mark at the second attempt with something in hand at Carlisle, and appeals as one to keep on the right side as he goes over hurdles. He gets the vote ahead of New Rules, whose yard enjoy plenty of success with hurdling debutants, while Pitch And Toss is another to consider.
